The Kenilworth Diner Restaurant - American Diners Breakfast & Brunch in Kenilworth, NJ

This is an excellent diner! Their service, food and atmosphere was exceptional. The portion size, fresh taste and appearance was inviting. I was not disappointed on any level. The corn beef hash, pancakes, waffles bacon and sausage pleased the palates of everyone in my party. The coffee was not watered down, it had a full bodied taste. The price is commensurate with the portion and food ordered. Great value!! This diner is light and airy, clean and comfortable. I will visit this diner again when I am back in town. My family recommended it and I was thrilled and satisfied.

I have a goal to visit 26 diners in 2026. This was number five for the year. I agree with the previous reviews that the cheesecake is tasty. We focused on breakfast choices and everyone was happy. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were also better than some other places we've tried so far.

Very impressed! We ordered the chopped sirloin, a turkey clubhouse with disco fries. The lentil soup was 10/10 delicious, seasoned perfectly. The tasty clubhouse was stacked with sliced turkey and was a solid 8/10. The disco fries wasn't that good but in their defense, we are Canadian and disco fries is a poor copycat version of our poutine. The star of the dinner was the chopped sirloin. It was 10/10. Very flavorful. Its noticeable they use a good grade of beef. The home fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The only negative was the veggies. They were bland and boring. The waitress was very nice and attentive to drink refills. I absolutely recommend trying this place.

We (group of 4) were seated immediately in a room attached to the entrance. Our waiter quickly brought our beverages. The menu is classical diner with lots of great choices. Food arrived very quickly and the waiter refilled our beverages often.

Love this place. I've been going for years and it's very convenient. The specials are nicely priced, and they have amazing soups. They also have a rotating list of specials that are always new. The owners are Greek brothers, so if you see any Greek specials on the menu, be sure to order them. The cheesecake is to die for and is award-winning, so it's a must-have. I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Ordered an Oreo cheesecake, a lemon meringue pie and (4) creme puffs for Christmas Eve. Process was so smooth and product was delicious!!! Everyone I was in contact with at pick up was a delight. So excited to go to the restaurant and eat with my family. Thank you!
